How do I apply?

All applications have to be completed on your android device . You can begin your application by downloading the QuickCheck app from the Google Playstore. After downloading the app, sign in with your facebook email address and password and fill in all the required information.
You can then use the slider on the app to determine how much you would like to borrow, the purpose of borrowing and the loan tenor. Submit your application and we will immediately let you know if your application is successful or not.

How much can Quickcheck borrow me and for how long?

As a first time user, you can borrow up to 10,000 Naira at the maximum for a period of 30 days and if you pay your loan as at when due, the possibility of you getting a higher amount increases. The more you repay your loans successfully, the higher the amount we can lend to you.

Are your services available to lagos residents only?

No. You can access our services from anywhere in Nigeria as long as you have mobile data on your android device.

Can I apply for a loan from a computer or another other operating system apart from Android?

The Quickcheck app is currently only available on devices running on the android operating system. However, in a bid to serve you better, the app will soon be available on other devices running on other operating systems.


Why is my bank account required?

Your bank account and account details are required because it is important for us to get you credited as soon as your application is approved and it is where the funds get disbursed to once your loan application is approved.

Why is my BVN needed?

Your BVN is needed for verification purpose. Before we disburse loans, we will need to verify that the person applying for a loan is the true owner of the bank details sent to us. It is also a security measure put in place so that another individual will not use your details to apply for loan without your authorization.

I have a complaint, who can I contact?

If you ever encounter any difficulty while using our services, please send us a mail at anytime at or through any of our social media pages (Facebook and Twitter). We would respond to you as quickly as we can.

My loan application has been validated, why have I not yet received my funds?

If you are a first time applicant, your debit/ATM card needs to be setup in order for you to receive funds from us. Please go to the card section in the app and add a card (click on the ‘+’ icon) to be used for repayment. For your convenience, on your expected date of repayment, the amount due will be automatically deducted from your account.
Please note: you need to have at least ₦100 in the account linked to the card for setup to be successful. Card setup is only required once provided your card is valid.

How long does it take for my account to be credited?

You will typically receive funds from us within 24 hours of approval. You may need to notify us if the time frame is exceeded and you did not receive the money. You are also advised to check your account balance directly as you may not receive a credit alert.

Why was my loan application rejected?

Loan application can be rejected due to a number of reasons such as:

  • Lack of provision of adequate information by the applicant while filling in the required details;
  • You do not meet our lending criteria;
  • You did not repay your previous loan as at when due.

My application has been been submitted but I haven't received any notification about my loan status.

Once you send your application, we will automatically send you an email to let you know that we have received it. However, if you do not receive any notification, You can go to the Home screen and click on the check loan status button to view your loan status.

I want to change my personal information or banking details on my app.

If you wish to change any information about yourself, kindly put your detail(s) in a mail and forward it to We will help you effect the changes.
Please note: All the details you are seeking to change should be accompanied with proof(s) and cogent reasons as to why you want to make the changes.

How can I check my expected date of repayment?

To view any information concerning your loan, please log in to your Quickcheck account and click on the tab where ongoing loan is being displayed.


What documents do I need to submit?

To get a QuickCheck loan, you do not need to submit any document. We will only need you to provide accurate answers to the questions we are going to ask you while filling in your details.

Why are you requesting for my card details?

Quickcheck asks for your card details, so as to make it easy to receive your repayment as at when due. We understand that it is highly sensitive information and we have put all measures in place to make our platform safe and secure. Your details are being stored in an encrypted format and no one can have access to them unless they are granted access.


How can I pay back my loan?

In order to make the repayment of your QuickCheck loan very easy, your loan repayment will be easily deducted from the card linked to the bank account you filled while adding your card on the platform.
However, if you wish to make a repayment before your due date. You can explore other options such as:

Debit card: To make a payment to clear an ongoing loan, click the ‘Pay Loan’ button in the app and click on any of the debit cards you have saved to make repayment.

Can I pay back my loan in instalments?

To make loan repayment easier and flexible, you can make weekly payments. All you need to do is to toggle the ‘instalment or one-off payment’ button while applying for a new loan and it will automatically calculate and show you the amount you are to pay each week.

I want to pay back my loan before the due date, will I pay less?

You can repay all or some of your loan before the due date and at any time and you could save interest - as you only pay interest for the days you borrow. There's no fee for repaying early.

What happens if I can't repay my loan on my due date?

You are advised to take a QuickCheck loan only if you are certain of making a repayment on or before the date you chose to make the repayment. Late repayments also attract extra charges which means you are liable to pay more than the expected amount if you don't pay as at when due. Defaulters will also be reported to the National Credit Bureaus and this will deter your chances of accessing loans from us or any other financial institution.

I just made a repayment. When should I apply for another loan?

If you sign in to your account and your payment status reads ‘paid’. It means your repayment has been received and updated accordingly. You can reapply for another loan once your payment has been updated.

Can I make a repayment with a different Account number and account name?

Yes. You can make a repayment with a different account number and name. All you need to do is to notify and send us the details of the account you used in making the repayment immediately after the transaction.

What if I don't pay back my loan?

We love you as our customer and we would never want you to leave our platform, however, if you do not pay back your loan as at when due, it can attract serious consequences such as:

  • Poor credit rating with the Credit Bureau agencies which will prevent you from accessing loans from us and any other financial institution.
  • Suspending your account on our platform which means you will no longer have access to our loan facility in the future.
  • Reporting you to State authorities.
  • Possible legal action: You may be charged to court for taking a loan and not wanting to pay back after agreeing to the terms and conditions.

If you know you are going to have difficulty paying back your loan as at when due, please contact us a week before your due date so as to work out ways by which we can assist you.


Are my data safe with you?

Yes. We hold every piece of information about you in high esteem and we do not share with any other individual or institution. Your data are stored in an encrypted format and no one can have access to them unless they are granted.

I lost my device. How do I retrieve my account?

Your account can be easily retrieved. All you need to do is to download the app on your new device and sign in with your details.

I can't validate my phone number?

Please make sure the number inputted in your application is the same as the number of the sim on your device. Also please input your number in the correct international format without the first zero i.e 0903056574 becomes +234 903056574 Make sure you don't pick the call when that comes in. Note: If you are using a phone with dual sim, please swap the sim cards.

I can't validate my account number?

Kindly confirm that you selected the correct bank name for which the account number you filled is domiciled.

I am getting this error while trying to submit my application: ‘bvn already in use’:

This usually means that you have registered your account with a previous Facebook account different from the one you are currently using. Please, make sure you log in with your previous Facebook profile.

Why was my account suspended?

Please note that we diligently protect the private details of our customers and we do not allow two different individuals to sign in to their QuickCheck accounts on a single device. Your account will be suspended if you attempt to sign in on another device different from yours. Your account can also be suspended if you take a loan and do not pay back as at when due.


I tried downloading the app from the Google Play store but I'm getting a 'Device not compatible' message, What does this mean?

Our app currently works on android devices running on version 4.1 and above. Please check your device settings to ascertain if your device runs on the required version.
